White Hat Ball 2023 announcement

Hello friends, (a message from Stephen Khan, our chairman)

We are delighted you can join at that the 18th White Hat Ball 2023. This page has been prepared to make available all relevant information at your fingertips, to complement information from your table host.

The 2023 White Hat Ball will be held at the Royal Lancaster London (W2 2TY – next to Lancaster Gate Tube station). The event on 27th January 2023 starts at 1800, and finishes at 2am, with a sparkling reception before dinner (menu below).

The event is Black Tie so dress accordingly. Tickets will be provided by your table host.

Option 1: White Hat Ball Menu for meat eaters:

Starter:

Twice baked Montgomery Cheddar cheese soufflé smoked chicken, leek and tarragon cream

Main Course: Sorrel crusted canon of lamb purple sprouting broccoli and roast celeriac, fondant

potato, minted lamb jus

Dessert: Morello cherry meringue, jivara cremeux, blackcurrant brownies Coffee and petit fours

Option 2: Vegetarian Menu (MUST BE PRE-ORDERED)

Starter: Twice baked “Cashel Blue” cheese soufflé wild mushrooms, soft herbs and a Dijon mustard sauce, watercress oil (V)

Main course: Roasted vegetable Wellington root vegetable and broad bean cassoulet, plum tomato emulsion

Dessert: Morello cherry meringue, jivara cremeux, blackcurrant brownies
