Join the White Hat committee and Cyber Security Leaders in funding Childline for one unforgettable day 

After many months of hoping that we would be able to host the annual White Hat Ball in person, we have decided that in order to protect everyone’s safety we will be resting the event this year. Instead, to bring our community together this January we invite you to join the committee and the Information Security Industry in supporting White Hat’s Unforgettable Day, in aid of Childline.

White Hat’s Unforgettable Day is a campaign that aims to raise £30,000, enough to fund Childline for one full day, the 29th January, when the original ball would have taken place. This ambitious and exciting campaign will bring together the Information Security sector, concluding in an evening of celebration and entertainment on 29th January, for what would have been the sixteenth White Hat Ball. 

By making a donation, you will be joining industry leaders in supporting this unforgettable day of Childline, and your contribution will be shared and promoted across White Hat’s community.

2020 has been a chaotic year for children across the UK, and particularly those at risk of abuse or neglect. We’ve had to work differently, and keep adapting to be here for children when we’re needed. Throughout lockdown our wonderful Childline counsellors continued to travel to NSPCC centres to answer over 100,000 calls from children who needed their help, working tirelessly through lockdown and beyond. The White Hat Unforgettable Day campaign provides the opportunity for the sector to once again show their support of Childline, funding a day of Childline and changing children’s lives.

Support the event by becoming a White Hat Prize Donor 

Each year the White Hat Ball is supported by our fantastic prize donors. In 2020, thanks to our donors, the silent and live auctions raised over £55,000 allowing our volunteer counsellors at Childline to answer almost 14000 calls from children.
